This is my longest post on here yet! This is my 3rd year Games Development Project at Staffordshire University.
I created a game-ready model of Boa Hancock and her pet snake as a supporting prop. The concepts are fully derived from the anime 'One Piece', and created in the art style of Overwatch. This was super challenging and fun to work on and it has further taught me not to underestimate the work and skill that goes into creating stylised art.
I really enjoyed making use of ZModeler for this project, as it felt intimidating to use until now, as well as learning how to create a mouth bag for my character, so I could pose her more dynamically!
I retopped and rigged the character in 3Ds Max. All sculpting was done in ZBrush and textures in Substance Painter. All beauty renders were made in UE5, and I decided to attach a few slides of my art book for this project at the end as well. Both poses are on Sketchfab if you want to check out the model further (keep in mind the textures are a bit weird in some places due to having to compress files to be able to upload them to Sketchfab)
